Reader comment on item: Assad's Cunning Game

Submitted by Richard Schmitz (United States), Dec 13, 2002 at 15:56

Sir,

Carry on! i've spent many years working for private American corporations as well as government institutions in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

The arab world is portrayed inaccurately by washington and the media spin peoples who are driving agenda's which are subjective in nature and harmful to our country's long term ambitions.

It's important to disseminate the facts without the cloud cover so pervasive throughout our country.

Carry on.............i've been an avid student of arab history, culture and the middle east in general. i've traveled extensively throughout it with an eye toward " how things are," not how i wish them. it's a great part of the world and an important part.

Should you need someone to help with research, or fact finding ( historic or otherwise), please let me know. I would be willing to put in some time! I enjoy it so much!

Carry On!
regards,
richard j. schmitz
