Evil is evil - no matter the apparent religion

Reader comment on item: A Pakistani Pater Familias

Submitted by Joe Marschall (Australia), Jan 1, 2006 at 03:10

Surely we cannot blame the crimes of individuals on the belief system of the society in which they were born. This man committed a crime - just as happens elsewhere in the world. We currently have a man on trial in Australia for killling his 3 sons during an access visit. Does that make Christianity responsible for his actions?

Nazeer Ahmed will have to answer as a common criminal - let's not blame Islam for his actions.
