Why... don't you recognise that violence and anti Christian/Jewish sentiments are the meat and drink of the Quran? These sentiments are not a recent phenomenon at all. It seems to me that 'respect' is given to these enemies of our culture and belief system on the basis of their numbers and their readiness to engage in conflict of all kinds (jihad). I believe that this respect is a euphemism for fear. The importation into Europe and the Americas of these enemies is a thing we will rue more each passing decade. If they are so bold now, how much bolder, how much more trouble will they cause in the future? Explicit in the Quran also, is the dispensation to lie to none muslims in the furtherance of the faith. To expect honest discourse from such a slippery neighbour is too much. They scoff at your notion of the 'moderate' muslim. He is a contradiction in terms, an apostate and no better than an infidel. The Quran explicitly indicates the inferiority of none muslims; so the notion of a moderate Islam might be a temporary comfort but it is a long term folly. To have a Trojan horse among us is a dagerous thing: but failure to recognise it as such is a greater danger by far. Rgds Bill law
