The Spirit of Truth
Reader comment on item: Daniel Pipes: Prophet

Submitted by John Newton (United States), Sep 29, 2002 at 18:15

Dear Sir

I find in Daniel Pipes the spirit of truth, which is a delight to read for a truth seeker like my self. John Kennedy was my commander in chief and I have been trying to figure things since then. Now I am a retired fire man and seek to defeat politically those whom I call institutionally bonded.

Instead of seeking truth, they seek to protect the power and control of the institution, instead of seeing institutions as servant, they see them as the parent or master of the public.

I served the public for 27 years and know this first hand...
