Congratulations Daniel! You are a master in spotting the essential. But 'common sense' is a slippery concept and the intellectuals are not immune against the Follies of the Zeitgeist.

The bad news are that we have no simple recipee in order to find out what is reliable and good.

The good news are that we will grow when induced to think and find out.

However, my bottom line is that nothing can really replace the conscience of the individual, which indeed is the conclusion of many noteworthy thinkers like Albert Einstein, Albert Schweitzer and Norbert Wiener to name a few. Reliable people indeed, but not absolutely so!I
