Reader Janek Horacek raises a very valid point

Reader comment on item: Achieving Israel Victory with Martin Sherman
in response to reader comment: Questions

Dear Dr Pipes,

Your reader Janek Horacek raised a very simple and relevant question. In simple terms, Janek asked how much money Palestinians will take to leave Israel? This is a very pertinent question. For the last 75 or so years (and in actually throughout the Islamic history) various fights for 'independence' by Islamic people has taken our planet as hostage. The fight of Palestinians --whether legitimate or illegitimate-- is not a local regional conflict. It is a conflict in which every Muslim in teh entire world is directly or indirectly involved and every now and then it effects of lives of non-Muslims as well.

So what is the price of taking the planet as a hostage for 70 years? What is the monetary value of Palestine. The entire country of Israel is only a few thousand square miles in area. How much money has the world spent on this conflict in the last 70 years? How many Palestinians are their in this world? If you do teh simple math, I believe that if Palestinians give up their demands on the Israeli land and leave for some other lands, each one of them can be a millionaire if not more. It is as simple as that.

But they do not have this much sense. They are not thinking. They do not know the cost of war.

A war never ends for them. Honestly! Throughout its history, Islam is used as a land-grabbing political philosophy. Any land that was once under Islamic control some how becomes an Islamic land for good (Your readers would like to recall recall the map of the world posted by ISIS-- it even shows India as a part of the Islamic emirate). But alas, Palestinians cannot be bribed or compensated for the damage they have suffered. Their soal purpose is to grab the land of Israel for good.
