Christianity occurs only one way....not through rituals.

Reader comment on item: Obama's Muslim Childhood
in response to reader comment: Exactly - but Christianity is NOT transmitted by birth

Submitted by Born again Christian (United States), Jul 29, 2016 at 09:15

I know this thread is ancient but I just had to comment.

I am a Christian and my faith does not require baptism or communion. Just that I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Some Christian denominations require or prefer a ritual that shows to the world you have accepted Christianity but Our Lord and Savior said only through me.......John 3:16.

In reference to Islam claiming men pass down Islam to their children is just their attempt to be Jewish like. Muslim is not a blood right but only a faith who no more want people in their faith that don't believe that any other religion except Judaism. Saying Obama is a Muslim is like saying I still a slave because my forefathers master said and believe all the children of my ancestors belonged to him. Though illegal if alive the slave owner would believe it but that would not make it so.

So according to Islamic tradition they may consider a Muslim father's child Muslim but that don't make it a reality. They can consider whatever they want. For example, Radical Islam tend to believe that America is evil but that don't make it a reality either.
