Reader comment on item: Michael Oren Interviewed by Daniel Pipes

Submitted by Jack Daniels (United States), Jul 13, 2015 at 16:04

Who pulled the fire alarm? Also, the failure to have a security check at the entrance to the auditorium, as one questioner noted, is a serious breech. Common sense dictates that Miichael be provided with a modicum of security. i am not sure if this is Daniel's responsibility or that of the local authorities but it does need to be attended to in the future for someone who is as controversial and forthright as Michael.

Daniel Pipes replies:

The alarm was planned.

I was upset to learn about the absence of security after having been assured that the library would take care of this.
