I agree with you.

May God bless her soul but she was not very smart. Her parents and I'm afraid to say should be blamed for not telling her that it is crazy to go to any part of the world where there is war even if the reason is to help others. After all if let us say a son or a daughter tells his/her parents that he/she would hurt themselves, I'm sure smart and caring parents will get the child the best help they can even committing the child to an admission to a mental health unit. This is what her parents should have done and that is to get her some help and stop her from harming herself and this is what happened.
