I conclude that Obama wants Khameini and Putin to be successful, moreso than he wants to see Netanyahu and Poroshenko to be successful.

This is what you get when the road Obama travels is the one taken by the Ayatollah Khomeini and the Haj Amin al-Husseini, instead of the one taken by Shahpour Bakhtiar and Muhammed Nimr al-Hawari.
