Iran's nuclear powered submarine

Reader comment on item: Additional U.S. Sanctions on Iran?

Submitted by myth (Germany), Jan 12, 2014 at 20:16

Is this a new threat I understand from the Iranian professor who expresses Iran's ambitions to build a nuclear powered submarine? Israel buys Germany's submarines two for the price of one. These submarines are capable of approaching US carriers undetected. Yes it is a unjust world. Iran does not get the same offer - call it a sanction.

Do I sense a plan here? Iran wishes to sink US carriers?

Whatever the understanding, the statement made by the professor links the Iranian nuclear program to military ends.

I am shocked. If I could do a better Obama impersonation I would call Ramstein airbase now and order a strike.
