The Syrian Strategy you suggest makes a lot of sense and will likely work up to a certain point until the Israeli airforce bombs Iranian nuclear sites in western Iran the territory which ancient Elam is located especially the area of the Bushehr nuclear plant where the Russian technicans just left. (Jeremiah 49:35-39 prophecy) Iran's number one ally is Assad who will likely upon Iran's orders shower down missles upon Israel or Iranian units in Syria will fire missles at Israel causing Damascus to be destroyed in one night. (Isaiah 17:1 & Isaiah 17:14)

The destruction of the Moslem city of Damascus will cause all the Sunni Arab Jihadist bordering Israel to attack Israel along with the Al-Qaeda forces from Iraq. (Psalms 83:6-8) Israel at this time won't stop until all Arab forces are completely destroyed.

Israel will not listen to the United States this time to establish a ceasefire when the Arabs are losing like in all other wars. Obama has betrayed Israel so Israel will not listen to what the United States dictates. Israel will have a few years peace until Iran regroups with non-Arab allies and the Russians to launch an failed attack upon Israel. (Ezekiel 38:18-39:9) From this victory Israel will know their God from this day forward. (Ezekiel 39:22)

The few years peace Ezekiel 38:11 Israel will prosper selling billions in natural gas exports to Europe while both Russia and Iran will temporary be having problems with the Sunnis for their warfare against them in Syria. When Israel gathers a huge spoil wealth Ezekiel 38:13 the Russian Sunnis will settle their differences among ethnic Russians, Armenians, Georgians, Belarusians and Iranians and unite together to go after Israel's wealth BUT God will have these forces turn their weapons upon each other. (Ezekiel 38:21) They shall perish upon the mountains of Israel and birds shall devour their flesh. (Ezekiel 39:1-4)
