Reader comment on item: Forget Syria, Target Iran

Submitted by Irma Rochlin (United States), Sep 10, 2013 at 09:19

As usual, you make sense . Will the pendulum switch back to days of America Firsters and non intervention ? The dictators and terrorists march on to their timetable while anarchy holds

firm. Old promises of support fall victim to power grabs and the Malthusian theory of the necessity of war to take care of over-population problem is the order of the day. Is much reviled Israel the only oasis of sane living in a world awash in worship of death? Is diplomacy synonymous with double-talk?In this age of globalization, American interests are at risk all over the world as well as lives of our citizens abroad as well as soldiers committed to wars.
