Iran just had an election and still holds domination over Assad's intentions. Iran is also sending some 4,000 Iranian Revolutionary Guards to fight with Assad's forces to take over the Golan Heights.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu has always said should Assad start a war with Israel Assad's fortress in Damascus will come to an end. Assad shall be no more. The Jihadist have also said after Assad is gone they will go forward and liberate Jerusalem. I believe the Jewish prophets were right about the coming events about to take place.
