Mr. Romney's foreign policy advisors

Reader comment on item: Romney Stumbles on Foreign Policy

Submitted by Jerry Coburn (United States), Oct 23, 2012 at 18:00

Are you aware that fully 17 of his 24 foreign policy advisors are the same neo-cons who conned Bush into Bush's folly in Iraq, for which the nation is still paying dearly? Can you tell me how Romney's foreign policy differs from that of George Bush? For that matter, can you tell me how his domestic policy differs from that of Bush? I can't tell the difference. Do you really want a replay of the Bush-Cheney regime? If so, please tell me the United States and the vast majority of Americans would benefit, since they didn't the last time.

Thank you very much.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Romney's policy as articulated in the third debate resembles Obama's more than George W. Bush's. Let us hope this is just for show.
