What would Forte say now, 11+ years after 9/11

Reader comment on item: Bin Laden Is a Fundamentalist: A Reply to David F. Forte

On a personal level this is a fascinating article. I studied under Prof. Forte at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and have followed Dr. Pipes for many years. I tremendously respect both men.

Hindsight being what it is, I think it's clear that Dr. Pipes' vision of the Islamic world turned out to be the correct one. I just wonder, if given the 11+ years that have passed since 9/11 and Prof. Forte's article, what he would say now? Would he now agree with Dr. Pipes?
