By 2062, the oil will have been sucked dry from the Mideast and the people there will be forced to educate themselves in order to compete and survive. The optimistic vision of Life magazine will finally become realized and people will look back and see Daniel Pipes as a hopeless pessimist.

Point me where I have said that the Arabs are doomed to remain in the same terrible state they are in today. I have not. The key to being a historian is the ability to understand that everything changes over time, that you don't extrapolate from the present to the future.
