Reader comment on item: American Taxpayers Funding Terror?

Being one of the remote viewing audience, yet being only an infrequent viewer, this was one of the more interesting GB's to have been aired, for no other reason than to crystallize what has been said again and again. One might ask: why again and again? Because, too few are listening. And of those who are, there are three groups: those who listen and are appalled that these things are happening in our lifetime; those who listen and appear to have (to use a sports term) defensive indifference; and lastly (BUT NOT THE LEAST) those who are listening to see how well their tactics are working.

As has been mentioned quite often on GB, we are in those dangerous times of which the prophetic tomes have well spoken of, of an era where the worst fears of a generation can conceivably break out on the evening news somewhere else in the world and be at our front doors before the same sun rises here. It is written in those same tomes that watchmen are to be set on the wall for a warning of the threat approaching; a wise thing to be doing.

Yet we see even as the warning is broadcast, little is being done from those to whom we had entrusted to provide our defense. Instead, we see that trust cast away like dollars being cast from the rooftops of the financial institutions that appear to be as fickle about preserving the integrity of this once proud nation while trading those same dollars for a more desirable currency. How long before the dinar becomes the acceptable exchange for a yuan?

There is to b e a point made here, one that seems to be quickly lost for the lack of an ability of American leaders to realize the greater threat is not from without the defenses of the United States, but from within. The apparent disintegration of the system that once called the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence the foundation of a nation that observed the Biblical principle is quickly upon us, and like the Japanese scientists that cannot seem to quell the disaster that has beset them, the citizenry of the United States seem reluctant to reset the nation on a course that remains true to the founding principles; and the continued compromise will lead to the eventual internal collapse and completion of those very things introduced so many years ago by the enemies of everything American.

Even as the presentation with Mr. Holton and Dr. Pipes continued to provide instruction on the dangers to the American way of life, none were able to answer the question of what will be the best way to counter the threat; indeed a true answer is nearing impossible to present for the lack of an American constituency strong enough to reverse the damage already done. Were there strength in the constituency, the leadership of the administrative, legislative and judicial branches would be formed of principled representatives with the knowledge and integrity to return the country to a basis of truth and internal strength that no foe could hope to engage with any though of victory. Sadly, this is not what we are seeing today.

What we are seeing though, should give encouragement to those who have understood the Biblical prophetic implications of the circumstance coming to pass and further give credence to the empirical evidence of Biblical truth. As we see things happen as the Hebrew Holy Scripture say they are supposed to happen, then the faith of those who have taken Jesus Christ to heart and to Whom all trust should be directed is justified. Then there is no need to fear whether shari'a is imminent; or the violent sensitivity demonstrated due to the desecration of a Quran. Trusting in the Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible does not produce violent demonstrations over the physical book, but a filling of His Holy Spirit in the love, grace and mercy extended to those who believe in faith in Jesus Christ in His truth and love.

This is what America needs to return to, repenting nationally and individually to a Holy Almighty God, like the Ninevites did when Jonah appeared to them from the mouth of a great fish, presenting the impending judgment for the disrespect of an unbelieving people. Think there is no impending judgment imminent? Ask the Indonesians and Japanese whether or not an earthquake, just like the ones called for in the Holy Bible, might be the result of something other than plain coincidence. America is being given plenty of warnings to unite behind the truth. The time is quite short to get it right; or get shown the consequences of ignoring the obvious.

Shari'a; anyone?
