Thanks Eric for a thoughtful article.

But, just a thought, maybe Egypt could trade the persecuted Copts for the so called palestinians. Israel would gain neighbors who could work with Israel co-operatively to the benefit of both ( Christian and Jews) while buffering thier borders with peace loving friends. And the palestinians, could lobby egypt for thier place in a muslim society. Fair trade.
