Reader comment on item: West-Muslim Relations since 9/11

It is my opinion that the British appointment of the Hajj Muhammad Amin al-Husseini, the virulently anti-Jewish upstart was the key nationalist figure among Muslims in Palestine and a source, or "spark", if you will, for Hassan al-Banna, that gave rise to the birth of the Muslim Brotherhood that has now spread world-wide and now threatens our society.

The Muslim Brotherhood, along with Turkey, is the greatest threat to us right now. Add to that the Islamist infiltration of our educational system in the West. That is being heralded, and even promoted by Fethullah Gulen, with the aid of American philanthropic donations. Gulen, said to be worth twenty-five billion dollars, is a Turkish Islamist, with little formal education, who helped Recep Tayip Erdogan's rise to power, and whom is protected by the US government and lives in a mountain fortress in the hills of Pennsylvania. How ironic that the CIA imported him and now the FBI protects him. All of these factors combine to make for a very unstable situation and prepares the way for the well-planned conquest of the west from within. They will stop at nothing until they succeed.

Dr. Pipes, I think, considering the fact you received little support from Janice Stein, you handled yourself with poise and you knowledge of Middle Eastern policy shone through. I actually believe Ms. Stein was won over slightly to your side near the end of the debate but she is still deceived by the "peaceful notions of Islam" and fails to read through taqiyya policies of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It is also my belief that Burna Turam is mistaken in her belief that sharia will not succeed in taking control over the rule of law in the west. It is already occurring in the EU and UK. She claims most Muslims do not want sharia law but experience has shown that once a country becomes Muslim dominated and sharia becomes law, the moderates, if there indeed is such an animal, will "join the band wagon" with their Islamist comrades. It must always be remembered that Germany was overrun by a minority political force in the 1920's and 30's to become a 'Superpower', and your point hit home that, "just because a political party comes to power though democracy doesn't make them any better". They are still evil and will do us harm.

That being said, I considered your opinions the winners in this panel. It was a very interesting debate. I would like to see much more of this televised form of dialogue in the future. The sooner we have these open forms of dialogue the sooner we can confront the truth of the theofascist agenda that underlies the Muslim Brotherhood in the West.

Thank you for this. I will share it on my Facebook site.
