muslims were demanding that they not have to handle liquor, because it violated the koran and therefore their rights, ..but when it helps them . . .anything goes.

Reader comment on item: American Muslims in the Liquor Business

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Jul 30, 2010 at 00:02

Some business were having trouble getting muslim workers to do the jobs that they were hired for. In food stores muslim checkers would refuse to ring up pork or alcohol products, they would demand some one else do it for them or the customer. Some stores said "Hey you knew the requirements of the job when you applied" these stores were threatened with law suits and false claims of racism.

The stores gave in to the demands of the muslims.

It is interesting that the muslims say their religious rights must come first. In the Middle East only muslims have any rights at all. ( then only if you are male)

The muslims say that they should not be forced to do work that violates the koran because it violates their right of religion. Only jobs that are koran friendly are allowed. . . huh. . . in light of the fact the "prophet" muhammad owned Black people as slaves. . um . . I wonder does that mean it is ok for the muslims of Sudan to own Black Christian slaves?

Since the prophet muhammed had sex with a 9 year old child . .as clearly said in the holy koran does this mean it is ok . . . for muslims to sell child porn ?

Being two faced about alcohol does not help the good muslim people.
