Reader comment on item: On NASA's Strange Priorities

Submitted by concerned (Italy), Jul 7, 2010 at 11:24

In response to the last statement by Worden: "I can only imagine what discoveries might be achieved through such cooperation."

I can only say that I can't imagine how giving away our technical and scientific know-how is going to improve things, especially relations with the Islamic world! We tried doing the same thing in the 1980s and 1990s with China and now look at what's been happening to our economy, not to mention our military and diplomatic status in the Far East as well as the rest of the world. If Islamists take over the UAE with this kind of technology, I'd hate to think about possible consequences!
