If Iran Gets the Bomb

If Iran gets the bomb, the consequences for Israel would be disastrous for other than military reasons.

1. Immigration to Israel would seriously diminish.

2.. Exodus of Jews would increase, especially of those having the means and skils to start life over again in another country.

3. Economic investment in Israel would decrease.

4. The Jewish birthrate would decline.

5. The percentage of Arabs in the country would increase, and, by virtue of charming democratic principle of "one adult--one vote," the percentage of Arab Knesset members would increase.

For these and related reasons, a nuclear Iran would doom Israel. This being the case, Israel has no choice: it must attack Iran, and it must do this even if a successful attack would only delay Iran's acquisition of the bomb, and even if an Israeli attack prompts Iran to stop the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz (if it can).
