Your Commentary on the VeilReader comment on item: Niqabs or Burqas Banned at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Submitted by Wolf Lorber (United States), May 5, 2010 at 23:36 Your comments are quite correct, and should be obvious to all. Those who protest are evidently intent on malicious troublemaking for their host society. Moreover, such extreme dress is "custom," not a basic religious requirement of all Muslim women. They know this, but fail to acknowledge the fact publicly, for the same malicious intent. Hopefully, their daughters will become assimmilated in dress (and otherwise), yet still remain good Muslims. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
