US-Israel "special" relationship

US has helped Israel against it's own interests for last 60 years. Let us have a look at all these.

1. US gives Israel an approximate $5 billion dollar in aid each year.
2. US shelters Israel from all political issues at the UN.
3. US fights Israel's enemies on behalf of Israel i.e. Sanctioning the Gazans , fighting and destroying Iraq , fighting and killing in Afghanistan.
4. Offering Israel all possible sorts of intelligence information.
5. Offering Israel all sorts of advanced technology.

Now tell me Dr. Pipes what US has got from Israel in the last 60 years in terms of concrete and materialistic gain ?
