My Dear Edward,

I think you'll find that Gandhi was the greatest soul of the 20th Century. He brought freedom to an entire subcontitent and inspired freedom movements in Africa, without resorting to war. Convincing your adverary by conviction and argument alone, is a feat seldom seen, even today.

I doubt if Churchill was even the greatest Englishman of the 20th century!
