I have acknowledged about Mr. Carter's book "The Blood of Arbaham" since a long time, I respect the former President Carter, he is a good christian, clever politician, wise speaker as well as a peacemaker.
The Bible says: "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God" (Mat 5: 9).
I am not doubt of Mr. Carter desire to make a real peace in the Middle East, but after 20 years of the negotiations and peace conferences we see that the peace operation didn't win any score, though the faithful efforts and the two battles between the Arabs and Israelis during 1967 and 1973.
We cannot eliminate the role of the religion in the Israeli ideology, and the role of the nationality in the Arab ideology. The mutual point between two ideologies is the geography, that means the land is the most important thing which cannot be bargained at all.
The President Hafez al-Assad reclaimed of a fair and full peace, he made faithful efforts for achieve it, meanwhile the vice president Isaak Rabin made the same but no success has been achieved.
"As anyone who followed American politics in the late 1970's might guess, Mr. Carter's proposed solution lies in asking the two sides to halve their difference: "The Arabs must recognize the reality that is Israel, just as the Israelis must acknowledge Palestinian claims."
The Arab-Israeli conflict began since the year 1948 and after 60 years we didn't recognize any positive steps toward making a real peace between two contradictory religions, Islam and Jews, so we can consider this conflict between the Arab nationality and Jewish religion because we cannot seperate the Islam from Arab nationality as well as Israel from Jewish religion.
In my viewpoint, no peace can be achieved in the Arab-Israeli conflict through the next years, only one man can make it possible, which is known the Founder of Peace, Jesus Christ who promise us to make a full peace in the world when He comes back to our earth.
