Why is this surprising?

I missed the original of this article. But nothing in it surpises me. I have argued for some time now that Obama will combine intelligence and strength in combatting Terrorism, Islamic or otherwise. So it is and was predictable that Islamic terrorists will be especially unhappy with President Obama given the Muslim variables in his pedigree. [[But, it is clear to me that Obama is "Christian by Choice" and can be called Muslim only by embracing some Islamic teachings about Muslim-identity, which I do not.]] On the other hand, Obama will turn out to be a catylyst in getting "the Moderate Majority" within Islam to overtly reject Islamic terrorism. We are indeed blessed to have a man of his intelligence and good character at this critical time in our history.
