I don't believe that contacting our elected officials will help much, UNLESS, they received phone calls, letters and email by the hundreds of thousands.

Problem is far to many of us just sit back and ignor what's happening here at home and all over the world. That has to stop or we're all doomed. These Arab terrorists/fundamentalists have a long term plan and they are achieveing it. It's either believe as they do or die. They're not above killing their own for not believing in the fundamentalists version of Islam either.

My understanding is that the only Christians in Iraq are Catholics. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

The world can't stand by while any group of people is wiped out. If it does, then all of us are going to be wiped out and there will only be one group left standing. People tend to think that only Jews are at risk, obviously that's not true and the outcry and outrage has to be just as public and forceful for non Jews as it is for Jews.

To the list of elected officials each of us can contact I would add your local newspapers, all tv/cable station news programs, AND the UN. Add to that your local Churches, Temples etc. as every member of the clergy can get press coverage and should be equally as outraged regardless of which religion they are a member of. Plus, you need to keep this issue on the front burner by repeatedly contacting all of the people until they stand up and say NO MORE!

I've done just this and it's on my calendar to do it every week until I see the stories aired on the news with the outrage it warrants and something is done about it. I can't do it alone.
