... To start things off, Jihad in no way means war, or holy war or whatever the media screws it up to be. ... This is what propaganda is all about. Seems like you've fallen right into it. Jihad means struggle. That's what it is. Yes, there are a huge number of MUSLIMS that misunderstand this as well. Don't blame the religion or it's teachings blame the followers. But just because there is a group of people in a community does that make the whole community bad? ..

And Osama Bin Laden did nothing but kill innocents. That is exactly what Islam condemns. There are screwed up Muslims. They're the ones messing Islam up. Jihad doesn't mean go kill yourself in a holy way it means to struggle against evil. It means overcoming your own will and desire. A desire which is impure.
