REPUGNANT BEHAVIOR

I would think that we in the West have enough social problems and social behaviors that are repugnant to all people who understand their effects on their immediate environments and the global community that we need spend no time studying other peoples.

We need to spend more time studing our own behaviors and our inability to invent or create a society that is humane in its treatment of all people of the world, fair and just in its application of laws and policies, progressive and not destructive in its construction of societies and environments in which they exist, etc...

Ignorance coupled with arrogance is a dangerous combination in an acedemic environment that is supposedly devoted to research. Racist and religious beliefs of the researchers seems to bias both the data collected and the analysis of the data. The premise that we, the West, are the benchmark by which all other societies must be measured, leaves much to be desired.

Let us compare this rupugnant behavior of the East (especially Africa) to position on abortion (murder in the womb), female reproductive surgeries as a means of birth control (hysterectomies), introducing dangerous pharmacudicals into our bodies that have damaging long terms effects as a method of birth control, the sexual exploitation of females and children through our society, the relagation of women to a position of sexual objects, rather than the mothers of our civilization, and the list goes on and on...THE HISTORY OF OUR PAST IS A RECORD OF OUR CIVILIATION and how we truly practice what we believe...genocide of the native americans, enslavement, holacust, and forced migration of Africans, scientific experimentation on our own population, use of WMD on foreign civilian populations...

..."let he who is without sin cast the first stone"...

...before you remove the splinter from your brother's eye, you must first remove the mote from your own"...

I AM SURE BEING THE PRACTICING CHRISTIAN THAT YOU ARE, YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE ABOVE QUOTES.

My culture teaches me that I should first clean my own house before I criticize or attempt to tell others how they should clean their house.
