American visiting US Jerusalem consulate: "I felt like an interloper, not an American citizen..."

Adult supervision, indeed.

Sherri Mandell (son murdered several years ago by Muslim terrorists) describes her family's recent visit to the insultingly obtuse American consulate in eastern Jerusalem.

"Do not go to the American Consulate website if you want to think that America is neutral in the conflict that exists here. The cultural activities that are currently being highlighted are almost exclusively for Palestinians: Ramadan cultural evenings, books donated to high schools in Beit Jala and Nablus, a musical evening video-conference from the states for Palestinians...

"... I felt like an interloper, not an American citizen receiving services that are due to my son and me. It felt like being in an Arab consulate, not an Israeli one, and certainly not an American one."

"Serving the needs" of American citizens is the publicly professed mission of America's Jerusalem consulate. Currying favor with the PLO and its Muslim backers is the actual one.
