how can we protest this?Reader comment on item: A Consulate in Jerusalem Submitted by Oren Ben-Bassat (Israel), Mar 18, 2008 at 05:55 The U.S. Consulate on Rechov "nablus" (Schem) is one of the worst places I have dealt with in Israel. They refuse to schedule me an emergency appointment to renew my US passport before my flight. They are booked two months in advance and have long lines at all times of day. They do not respond to my emails or phone calls. Clearly the uSState department does not give a damn about helping any jewish americans living in Jerusalem.
