By what logic does "Islam" associate with "Abraham". There may be some association with the Arabs with Ishmael, but the Islamic / Mu'slam connection exists only in the abstractions so common with the Muslams. Insofar as Muhammed has no pedigree with Abraham, and developed a ideology inconsistant with the Abrahamic, and despised the true decendants of Abraham, the Jews,it seems the identification with the patriarch is an effort of the Muslams to simply lend a legitimatcy to what is a failed mythology, does it not?
