Covering up acts of terror

Reader comment on item: Terror & Denial [by Hadayat at LAX]

Submitted by Andrea Hyatt (United States), Jul 10, 2002 at 21:22

Dear Mr. Pipes,

I just finished reading your article and find myself, as I have many times before, very disturbed by our country's covering up the real truth behind these acts of terror you cited. I find it terribly irresponsible and troubling.

I have my own assumptions as to why they use the language they do but, I am interested in your opinion on why you think they go to such lengths to avoid the obvious!

Thank you for keeping this information out in front of the people.

Best,
Andrea Hyatt
