The great triumvirate religions, those which are sometimes referred to as the "Abrahamic religions," have all displayed enormous levels of naked aggression at one time or another during their respective histories. I've always felt an especial affinity for the teachings of Taoism, a gentle and reflective philosophy that teaches an acceptance of the rhythms of nature and an avoidance of unnecessary conflict.
