Reality Check for Bush

Reader comment on item: Bush Returns to the "Religion of Peace" Formulation

Submitted by John Green (United States), Dec 30, 2007 at 14:49

George Bush needs a reality check concerning his "War on Terror".
There is no "War on Terror". Terror is a tactic. It's like having a war against tanks or against bombs or against suicide or against AK-47s.
In reality, it is simply a war against Islam as taught in the Koran, hadiths, etc.

It isn't even a war against Muslim extremists. Certain Muslims choose to implement Islamic aims with what civilized nations consider extreme measures. Not all Muslims are terrorists but Islam requires that all Muslims support the ultimate aim of Islam in one way or another. That ultimate aim is : (1) convert to Islam, (2)surrender and submit, (3)or die.
