The e-mailman brought today an ad from "Guided Ways" for a way to spread Islam via a "Dawah Kit with references from the bible" that is now available for Java-enabled phones, Smartphones, Pocket PCs, Blackberry devices and Symbian OS." Here are the details:

Want to give dawah (invitation) to your fellow Christian and Jew colleagues but can't memorize references from the bible? Impressed with the different international orators such as late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, Dr. Zakir Naik, Dr. Bilal Philips etc and want to spread the word?

You can now download this FREE software to your Mobile Phone and carry it with you wherever you go. Not only will this help you memorize the relevant verses but will inshAllah provide means of revision and reference.

This software is based on the popular Dawah booklet "Combat Kit against the Bible Thumpers" written by late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat. We will inshAllah be aiming at providing more material in this software in future versions.

That "Combat Kit" deals with no less than 53 subjects: Aids and homosexuality, Arabs and Arabia, Abraham, Absurdities, Alcohol, Apostasy, Baca is Mecca, Bastard, Circumcision, Contradictions, David, Elohim, Genealogy of jesus, God, god with a small'g', God - contradictions, God - more contradictions, Holy Ghost, Incest, Ishmael or Isaac?, Israelites, Jehovah, Jeremiah, Jesus (pbuh), Jesus (pbuh) a ‘god'?, Jesus (pbuh) a racist, Jesus (pbuh) sundry tidbits, Jews, Keturah, Massacre, Melchidesek, Messiah translated ‘christ', Muhummed (pbuh), Onanism, Original sin, Paul, Pigs, Polygamy, Prophesies, Prophets (but Naked), Rape, Sabbath, Sarah, Slavery, Sodomy, Sons of God, Swine, Trinity, Whorring, Wine, Women, Word of God, Worship.

Comment: There is something strange and perverse about the extremist and retrograde views of Deedat – an associate of Usama bin Ladin – appearing on the most up-to-date mobile phone screens. (November 28, 2007)
