"...how would anyone convince them otherwise? you ask, sir.

Well, substitute "Native American Indian Tribes" for "Palestinians.": "The American West" for "Palestine." "After the 19th Century" for "after World War II." Etc.

Then insert Dr. Pipes thesis that someone has to lose and someone has to win. And the only question left is who will exercise the force to win.
