Who Has Been Harmed by Enforcement of the Patriot Act

Reader comment on item: The Caliphate: Updates

One Duane M. Thomas offered here that the U.S. Patriot Acts did the job for Al-Q'aeda of ending freedom of Americans and our way of life.

I've heard that assertion before.

Perhaps, finally, someone (Mr. Thomas?) can provide us with a list of each instance of which he/she is aware in which an American suffered an actual end of his/her freedom or his/her way of life because of the enforcement of any Patriot Act provision.

I'm ready to be persuaded by the facts.

Are there any?
