in response to reader comment: it is a plan

Defending 'Western' precepts of freedom and liberty as was modelled by he Ameircan form of governance, the lofty goal of spreading the 'democracy' that once embodied was a hard concept to promote, let alone obtain any broad based encouragement; for if there was no America to have initiated the very idea of a free citizenry all those decades ago, Britannia ruling the waves would still be the closest this globe might be experiencing: but why is it all now coming under scrutiny as the world come to have disdain for things American, principally for the lack of the leadership using democratic principles to defeat the land of the free?
Rhetorical question: for the past two hundred and forty years, why had America become the destination of a freedom seeking migration of millions of people who knew nothing of American politics, but who were hungry for experiencing part of the legend of the freedoms of the west? The legend persists; but in practice, the integrity of the former governance that gave cover for such freedoms has allowed it to dissipate, ;eaving no strength for alternative ideologies to insinuate themselves and corrupt the peaceseeking process and impose the ambitions of empire that had, and does, seek domination of killing kind, again.
It is the bane of fallen humanity.
Who dares attempt to defend, let alone promote, the seeking of the basis of what once made America that place of freedom; or does humanity finally fall back on its ancient destiny and the end game takes its toll.
What kind of plan it that?
