Reader comment on item: The End of Carbon Fuels?

Submitted by Iddo Wernick (United States), Jun 20, 2018 at 13:52

About the offspring of Ishamael in the Bible (Gneiss 16:12) it is said "... his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him". In the Aramaic translation the original Hebrew the passage is understood as "..he will need all and also all will need him" Accordingly, Oil has been the commodity that they have an others need. and whose profits they have used to insinuate themselves around the world. Perhaps we will need them after all. At least until the end of days. Also Hydrocarbons have unsurpassed energy density among chemical fuels and will always remain valuable for that reason. Nonetheless, Oil and Gas are proving to be far more common and accessible now than was once thought
