In Trump we have gotten an amazing gift

Dear Dr Pipes,

every liberal journalist, politician and person in the world is after Donald Trump. They all want his term to end as soon as possible. They do not even want to wait till the next election. They want his term to end by impeachment or make him an lame-duck president. I think that Trump is a gift that our world needed. If Trump presidency does not create another new policy or law in the next four years, I contend, that we are still in profit.

There are many reasons for my saying so but I will cite only one here. Islamic apologists have acted like cry-babies in the last 1400 years. No matter how many crimes Islamic terrorists do against Muslims and non-Muslims, the story that Muslims are being discriminated against and their rights are are being denied is the prime-time story. CAIR and ISNA will tell you that Muslims are discriminated against in America. European Muslim organizations will tell you that Muslims do not have enough rights in Europe. Indian Muslim organizations will repeat like a broken record that Muslims are discriminated against in 'Hindu' India. For crying out loud Muslims are killing each other in Islamic countries because someone is somehow denying them their rights. The story goes that Muhammad had to 'capture' Mecca because Meccans were discriminating against Muslims and we have to believe it! It goes on and on and on.

In this milieu comes candidate Trump. He calls a spade a spade. He said that Muslims must be banned from entering America until they fix up their act. And he won the election. And, today, the King of Islamic Teocracy of Saudi Arabia is showing President Trump and his wife the national Museum of Saudi Arabia. Who dares say that Trump is not a winner? Who dares say that Trump does not know how to win a negotiation? Islamic apologists need exactly this medicine and Trump gave exactly the right dose. Now, dear Islamic apologists, deal with what Trump was saying because he was speaking the truth.

If the only way to negotiate that you know is to shoot innocent people in unsuspecting cafes and if most of you remain quiet when this kind of tyranny happens, then you indeed need to fix up your act and Trump is right. Bigotry exists in this world. Bigotry might even exist against Muslim. But there is no other form of bigotry in this world bigger than the kinds that is practiced in Islamic theocracies from Rabat to Jakarta.

President Trump showed extreme courage when he called on Islam during his campaign. And if he does not do even one other good thing for our planet in the rest of his term, we have gotten more than our money's worth in electing him.
