Israel will lose the propaganda war

Reader comment on item: How Much Should Israel Fear ISIS?

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Aug 22, 2016 at 21:28

Dear Dr Pipes,

Over a billion Muslims in the world never miss an opportunity to criticize Israel and they also never stop blowing the Islamic trumpet. Moderate Muslims and Islamic apologists blow the trumpet of Islam louder than any one else. During President Obama's two terms, Israel has pretty much gone out of US news spectrum: good or bad, we just talk about Islam. At this rate, Israel is bound to lose the propaganda war. Often times, that is the only war that matters.

I would like to get your opinion on this issue.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Israel is doing fine in the US but that could change, as it did in Europe.
