Pure sectarian hatred

Reader comment on item: Why Yemen Matters
in response to reader comment: Just one question...

Submitted by Anon (United States), Apr 5, 2015 at 00:55

Arabs are able to form a coalition to fight Shia groups in Yemen because it is a manifestation of sectarian hatred towards Shias rather than any moral need to fight the bad guys. ISIS is far more brutal but is Sunni and hence you won't find any such coalition to beat back ISIS. We have seen this movie before. When Israel kills Palestinians by mistake - Arabs accuse it of being a genocidal force. When ISIS brutally wipes out Christians from Mosul - nary a comment. Hypocrisy at its very best.
