Reader comment on item: Should the West Act in Syria?

I think its wrong not to point out that Assad is the guardian of his own people, the Alawites, and other minorities such as Christians.

if the Sunni Arab states wish to stop Assad, let them spend their own personnel and money to do it. Keep the West out of it. .
