Reader comment on item: Israeli-Palestinian talks resume

Submitted by Lynn (United States), Aug 1, 2013 at 09:17

The secular version of israel. That would of course be the same as the Islamist version of Israel which oils the machinery of the West. What value does Israel or Jerusalem hold for the secular world? Perhaps the answer is the same as the Romans or any other secular world of human power. The worth of a man and woman is in the hands of other men and women who do not humble themselves before their Creator, so what worth would Israel hold for them? The name Israel and the city Jerusalem renamed, repackaged, removed or relegated to a tiny blink of light extinguished and then darkness. I don't think appealing to the secular world has proven profitable for Israel. Then again I am probably wrong if better and greater heads than mine disagree.
