The case of the Druze in Israel is a special one. Druzes are a non-Jewish, Arabic speaking group that has supported the Jewish state !!
The Druze community in Israel has a special standing among the country's minority groups and we can see members of this community in the military spheres. Their culture is Arab and their language Arabic but they opted against Arab nationalism in 1948. They have served in the Israel Defense Forces and became active participants on Israel's side.

Since the founding of the state of Israel in 1948, the Druze educational system has flourished (Dr Naim Aridi) : "in 1948, 981 Druze were in school, 881 boys and 100 girls. Today there are over 30.000 Druze students in the school system "
