My dear judith ...yes it's about the oil !!! You wouldn't be making ridiculous comments like the one you just stated without oil.........Where would medicine, and the other sciences be without oil? That is an ugly fact sorry to say, but it is, and until they come up with alternative fuels that will be the case......As far as religion goes, they have all come to power by the sword.....But the mideast finds itself in the predicament it's in not because of the oceans of oil it sits on but because of Islam plain and simple .... Their religion has wasted half their brain power, if they stopped treating their women like cattle instead they would be much better off......
