Cair Double StandardReader comment on item: Here's what [Hussam Ayloush of] CAIR doesn't say about me - or its record Submitted by Lorenzo Grigoli (United States), Jan 2, 2003 at 14:03 CAIR wants Americans to believe that Islam is a religion of peace and that the prophet Mmohammed was tolerant and merciful, but one only has to look at the Koran and see the violence: violence against the Jews, christians, animists, women etc.. You only have to look at muslim societies around the world and see their brutal and despotic nature. You only have to look at arabic media and see in plain view the seething racism, anti-semitism, anti-intellectualism, sexism, etc..To that, CAIR has started a campaign to try to stifle freedom of expression in the media by intimidation. At the heart of it is an editorial depicting Mohammed in a Ryder truck transporting a missile. What about the countless arabic media depicting jews as Nazis, Americans & Europeans as demons? Where is CAIR's outrage about that? In fact the cartoon maybe an accurate portrayal of Mohammed projected to the 3rd millenium! After all, Mohammed was a military leader responsible for the slaughter directly of thousands of innocent people in Saudia Arabia and indirectly for millions with the spread and forced imposition of Islam.
